One's destination is never a place but a new way of seeing things.

It was really great fun, spending some quality time in one afghan tribal antique shop in Murree. I been there for some time but the beautiful brass antique design jewelery have tempted me to stay for long. Most of these bangles, necklaces and earrings were of "Kuchi" style. "KUCHI" is a pashtu tribal word means " nomadic". Necklaces The shop was almost stuffed  with different kinds of nomadic stuff and it was difficult which one to select. lots of wall hangings,necklaces, hair catchers were on the display.  This design of jewelry is usually worn by Kuchi nomadic women in both Afghanistan and Pakistan north west areas. But apart from that, it always remain in fashion for the rest of women from Khyber to Karachi.  You can easily accessorize your outfit with addition of one such traditional kuchi bangles. Following are some pictures i have taken at this Buddhist Monastery, a perfect calm place for meditation. Its very peaceful to stay here a few hours away from the hustle bustle of mechanical lives. They are located in Takht e Bhai near my home town in Northwest of Pakistan.
