One of the shop i found of my interest at centaurus is Afghan Carpet. We usually found lots of beautiful carpets and rugs in the market that ranges from least 6,000 Rs to 5 lacs in most prices. In Pakistan most of them are suppose to be Afghan made but normally when you ask from shop keeper they will tell you that they are imported from Iran. May be the reason is that in Afghanistan due to unstable situation carpet weaving industry is not flourishing. At few places hand made rugs are weave by kids, women and men but they doesn't comes in markets on commercial level. One such Carpet shop i visited a year back at Peshawar near Karkhano market.
